This is a celebration of contribution of AFC aviators to Australian
History at the Wynyard Branch of the Bank of NSW, on the 50th
Anniversary of the first England-Australia Flight in December 1919.
Nigel Love
(3rd from left) was a 3 Squadron AFC pilot
in WWI who went on to launch Australia's
first aircraft factory and founded Sydney's Mascot airport.
Nigel
also successfully built up his popular business in the 50's and 60's: Love
Bakeries.
2nd from left is Sir Hudson Fysh of 1 Squadron AFC,
founder and Chairman of QANTAS. Far right is Henry "Bunny"
Hammond, an Australian pilot who served with 60 RFC Squadron.
